MARY SEACOLE HOUSING ASSOCIATION
A unique development at the rear of residential houses in a conservation area of Luton, for temporary supported accommodation to single individuals at risk of homelessness. Following a collaborative process between Hanley Taite Design Partnership, Mary Seacole Housing Association and the Luton Borough Council a planning permission was obtained for the redesign and extensions to the rear of existing semi-detached houses and a modular outbuilding development at the rear of the gardens, forming a courtyard with areas for private amenity and social enterprise / public outreach.
